- Caring for your tools
This is Jekka's go to sharpening stone for those who want a little more precision than the Twin Diamond File.
It is specially designed for Secateurs, but also great for Shears, Topiary Clippers and other sharp stuff. The concave edge follows the curve of the blade perfectly, and they're small enough to get into tight spots.
Jekka's golden rule is to soak thoroughly each time before use.
Combine with Camellia Oil, Crean Mate and the Twin Diamond File to maintain the quality of your gardening tools.
- #1000 grit: fine, for regular sharpening
We are massive fans of Japanese gardening tools and we are pleased to be able to provide a range of our favourites from Niwaki.
As anyone who has been to one of Jekka's Open Days knows, it is very important to correctly maintain your tools and Jekka advises using the infamous diamond sharpener along with Camellia Oil and Crean Mate as demonstrated in Jekka's video.
