Private guided tours around Jekka’s
Organise a group visit or private tour with Jekka's and share our passion for growing and using herbs.
We have welcomed many visitors to Jekka's to enjoy Jekka's Herbetum and Garden. Visitors are not only from the UK but also from all over the world including Singapore, Australia, America and Japan.
Our group visits are perfect for Herb Societies, Garden clubs, Cookery schools, Art Societies, Allotment groups, Historical groups and Herb enthusiasts!
We can curate a personalised tailored tour to reflect your groups interest.
About your visit
Your visit consists of a guided 45 min - 1 hour tour of Jekka's Herbetum hosted by either Jekka McVicar or one of our Senior Horticulturists.
After the tour your group will be offered light refreshments of homemade cakes, herbal teas and coffee.
You then have the opportunity to purchase herb plants from our vast collection or one of Jekka’s books from our farm shop. The entire visit lasts approximately 2 hours.
Our Food Tour group from Western Australia were completely absorbed from start to finish on our summer visit to Jekka's Herb Farm this year. From receiving generous advice on horticulture, to listening to relevant and fascinating personal stories plus a plethora of handy tips all from Jekka, the time flew past and quite frankly, none of us wanted to leave.
Jekka is a talented and wonderful human being who obviously loves what she does. She's an absolute asset to the gardening and cooking world. Very inspiring, entertaining and personable.
I'll be back in 2025 with more enthusiastic Aussies! Thanks Jekka, Alistair and Hannah for giving us such a wonderful experience.

Thornbury Tangent had a wonderful tour. Everyone was amazed at the great variety of the various herbs and learnt so much. We all had a very enjoyable time and it was a great opportunity to buy some more interesting herb plants! The various types of tea were amazing and, as for the cakes, what more need I say!
