Basil (Ocimum) is from the family Lamiaceae and is native to India, the middle East and some Pacific Islands. Today it is frequently seen in Italian cooking like pizzas, salads, sauces, and pesto. At Jekka's we grow many different varieties of Basil from the peppery Greek Basil to the lemon scented Mrs Burns.
Our herb seeds are untreated and can be used to grow organic herb plants.
