The Niwaki Moku Folding Saw is a wonderful little folding saw for fine pruning jobs in the garden or, as we use at Jekka's, dividing your mints and other herbs in Spring and Autumn .
To see how Jekka divides Mint, check out Jekka's Guide to Mints where she divides Mint with Nathan Outlaw for Christmas.
It has a specially shaped beechwood handle and a simple locking device to keep the blade in place. Ibara-me teeth are angled to cut both along and across the grain, giving a very fast, efficient action. Cuts on the pull stroke, like all Japanese saws.
Fits nicely in the Double Holster snuggled up with a pair of secateurs.
Maintain your gardening tools with Camellia Oil and Crean Mate.
Product information:
- Blade 180mm
- Length open 413mm
- Length closed 233mm

We are massive fans of Japanese gardening tools and we are pleased to be able to provide a range of our favourites from Niwaki.
As anyone who has been to one of Jekka's Open Days knows, it is very important to correctly maintain your tools and Jekka advises using the infamous diamond sharpener along with Camellia Oil and Crean Mate as demonstrated in Jekka's video.
