Jekka's at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2022
Last Monday we delivered our herbs to Sarah Eberle and saw the illusion, that is the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, taking shape. Read our last newsletter to see all the gardens that we are supporting.
After a 3 year gap, since our trade stand in 2019, it was great to be back on the show site and seeing a few familiar faces.
We have a long history with the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, from Jekka's first exhibit in 1993 to winning the RHS Lawrence award, for best floral display shown at the RHS that year, in 2009. Overall we achieved 14 golds at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
We also took on the challenge of a show garden in 2016 and Jekka was the chairman of the judging panel for the Great Pavilion in 2018.
Jekka's Small Culinary Herb Garden Designs
We frequently get asked to help design small herb gardens. As it is difficult for us, being a small team, to provide help to everyone we thought it would be worthwhile making a new blog.
Whether you are a horticultural wizard or a new gardener we wish you to enjoy growing and using herbs. In Jekka's new blog she not only outlines some gardening design basics but also lists some herbs that will work in small spaces as well as including a few of her favourites. She has designed two gardens for you, one is a square and one is a rectangle, both are small and manageable.
So start designing, building, growing and using your own herb garden with Jekka.

Once again we are pleased to welcome back Jean Vernon discussing all things bees. Jekka will also be giving her popular talks and anecdotes on growing culinary and medicinal herbs.
2022 is clearly the year for herbs with the creation of herb gardens all over the country. We are delighted that our herbs are in high demand and are seeking a number of new team members, including a gardener, horticulturist and/or a skilled propagator.
