Spring Begins at Jekka's
There is something very special about March at Jekka’s, it marks the start of our new year in the garden. After the stillness of winter, the first fresh shoots begin to appear: Chives, Mint and Lemon Balm quietly re-emerging, bringing that unmistakable sense of the season turning.
Across the farm, Rosemary has been in full bloom, washing the garden in soft blues and mauves with a delicate splash of pink; a welcome burst of colour while much of the garden is still gently waking.
In the glasshouse, the growing year begins once more as we sow our first Basil seeds of the season. A small but hopeful act that signals longer days and the promise of summer fragrance to come.
Spring is on its way, and we so look forward to welcoming you back to the Herb Farm. Our season begins with our first Master Class on Friday 20th March on Botanical Screenprinting, followed by our first open days of the year on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th March.
Don’t miss your chance to experience the garden at the very start of the season. Secure your place today and join us for the magic of early spring at Jekka’s.
