A Wonderful Celebration of Herbs
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Jekka’s May Herb Days. It was such a joy to gather with so many passionate plant lovers, gardeners, cooks, herbalists and curious minds for two inspiring days celebrating herbs.
From fascinating talks and garden tours to delicious food, medicinal herbs, bees and botanical inspiration, the atmosphere throughout the weekend reminded us why herbs continue to connect people across generations and cultures.

We are delighted to announce that tickets for our June Open Days, on Friday 5th & Saturday 6th June 2026, are on sale.
If you have been meaning to visit 'one day', we encourage you not to put it off for another year; the garden truly is at its finest in June.
Highlights from Jekka's May Herb Days
Visit Jekka's Herb Garden
It was back in the year 2000, when we hosted our very first open day, that we realised opening the herb farm, and now Jekka's Herb Garden, gave us the opportunity to share our knowledge and inspire people to grow and use more herbs.
We believe that when people understand a plant; its history, uses, growing habit, flavour, scent or medicinal value, they naturally connect with it more deeply. That connection changes the way we garden. We notice plants more, interact with them more often and ultimately grow them more successfully.
Our Open Days are designed to give visitors confidence, whether you grow herbs in a large garden, an allotment, a courtyard or a balcony. Through talks, themed tours and time spent immersed in the herb garden, we hope visitors leave with fresh inspiration and a new perspective on the plants already growing around them.
Alongside guided tours and talks from Jekka, there will be plenty of opportunities to explore the garden at your own pace and enjoy the beauty and abundance of the herbs in early summer.

Jekka's June Open Days
Jekka's June Open Days are divided into two sessions; a morning session from 9am to 12pm and an afternoon session from 1pm to 4pm. Each session includes a guided Jekka's Herbertum tour and an inspiring herb talk, giving you the opportunity to learn directly from the garden while still having time to explore and enjoy.
We are very pleased to welcome medicinal herbalist Bee McGovern, who will be leading special medicinal herb tours of Jekka's Herbetum. Bee's tours offer a practical perspective to the healing properties of herbs as well as exploring how herbs have been used throughout history and how they continue to support wellbeing today.
Tickets for our June Open Days are now available and we would love to welcome you to the herb farm this season.
