Jekka's is all a Buzz

Wonderful to see many of you taking advantage of Jekka's Spring seed offer and getting your seed orders in for this year. Nothing is more inspiring than growing your own culinary herbs.

When choosing your seeds we strongly advocate choosing some varieties that we know attract bees and other pollinators to your garden. It is true that bees love herbs and in particular, they love the Lamiaceae family, almost as much as Jekka. Read more about herbs for pollinators in Jekka's guide, linked below.

Jekka's favourites are below and we have included some of them in Jekka's seed collections, in particular: Birds & Bees, Biodiversity and Wild Herbs.

Jekka's Open Days

Visitors to our herb farm for Jekka's Open Days don't just come for the herbs but for the numerous different bees (or our herb farm honey when it is available).

During the Open Days, Jekka will be sharing her award-winning knowledge of growing and looking after herbs in two talks at 11:00 am and 14:30 pm each day. Come and find out some new tips and tricks as well as some interesting herby facts.

We are delighted to be joined by Jean Vernon for our Open Days. Jean will be giving Bee Tours in Jekka's Herbetum that were very popular at Jekka's HerbFest. Tours will be held at 10:00 am and 13:00 pm each day.
