Herbs for Bees with Richard Rickitt
We’re delighted to welcome Richard Rickitt, beekeeper at Westonbirt, the National Arboretum, author of Beekeeping for Gardeners and co-editor of BeeCraft magazine. Richard will be sharing why herbs are some of the best plants you can grow for bees and pollinators.
From Thyme, Rosemary and Sage to Oregano, Mint and Lemon Balm, herbs provide nectar-rich flowers that support bees throughout the season. If you’d like to create a garden full of life, colour and pollinator activity, Richard’s insights are not to be missed.
Richard has kindlly written a blog on Why Pollinators Love Herbs. Read it through the link below.

Growing the Next Generation with Helen Cross
We’re also delighted to feature Helen Cross, author of Grow Cook Inspire. Helen reminds us how powerful gardening can be for children and families: building confidence, curiosity, wellbeing and a connection to the natural world.
Whether you garden with children, grandchildren, schools or simply believe in the joy of growing, Helen’s words are full of inspiration.
