Baking with Herbs
Practical master class with Alistair, with a guided Herbetum tour by Jekka
Spend a day crafting the best afternoon tea
Using the herbs from the Herbetum you will be shown how to transform an English tradition into a herbal delight by learning ideas and skills that you can take home with you.
The day will include a guided culinary tour around the Herbetum with Jekka, which will be followed by a fresh herb infusion tasting. You will be amazed at the variety of teas that can be made straight from the garden. We will then create a range of seasonal treats that are perfect for an afternoon tea or that can contribute to our tasty lunch. During the afternoon, we will create some herb teatime classics. Anything that you do not eat, you can take home. We do not intend for you to leave hungry and you will have lots of inspirational ideas to impress your friends and family.
Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements ahead of the day so we can ensure you get the most out of it.
If you wish, please bring your chef knives and we can sharpen them in the class.
